Lucia Marani, Oxford BioMedica
Lucia Marani is an Analytical Development Scientist in a leading cell and gene therapy company (Oxford Biomedica). Here, she works on assay development and validation, as well as driving efficiencies and sustainability initiatives for continuous improvement. Lucia completed her PhD in Regenerative Medicine at Loughborough University in 2019, gaining expertise in tissue engineering, 3D co-cultures, stem cells and a variety of molecular biology assays.
Kendal Studd, Advanced Instruments
Kendal specializes in advancing novel osmolality applications within the biopharma industry. She is an experienced scientist with a demonstrated history of working in the biotechnology industry alongside sterilising grade filters and pharmaceuticals. She graduated from the University of Portsmouth with Distinction in a research Masters's degree looking at DNA extraction and amplification via PCR.
